Week 19 & 20

Hello everyone,

This is going to be my last blog. The past two weeks have flown by and I am already back in Holland.

These last two weeks were very nice, but busy. I did some lovely things with people from work and with my host family. On Monday I went to an Arsenal game, which was really cool. On Friday and Saturday I went out for dinner as a goodbye.

Saying goodbye was quite hard, because I have met so many nice people and I am really going to miss them. Besides missing the people I've met here, I am also going to miss London a lot. London is such a nice city and so different from what I'm used to.

I am also going to miss working at my internship company, besides the work not being very differentiated, the colleagues were very nice and I got to know some of them quite well which is nice.

My plan is to back this Summer, this way I don't have to miss it for too long.

Week 18

Hello everyone,

Only 2 weeks to go..

This week was not very different from other weeks. We did orders, Debenhams returns and put the returns back in stock.

During my weekend I went to a very nice park and the weather was really nice, so we had a lovely walk. On Sunday, I went to the gym and did some schoolwork.

Hopefully next week will a bit more interesting to read, as this week was a bit boring..

Week 17

Hi everyone!

Only three more weeks to go..

This week at work has been interesting. I learned some new things, including uploading new products.

This basically means; when we receive new stock, in this case items for the spring summer collection ‘19, we have to put them in our Admin and afterwards on the website.

First of all, I have to check all the colours and sizes to see if they are in stock. Afterwards write a detailed summary (washing details, fabrics, etc) and description. Eventually I have to upload the images in the right order and then I can save everything. I have to make sure it’s not shown on the website yet, because it always needs to be checked one more time before it’s live on the website.

This was actually fun to do, because it was nice to see all the ‘new in’ products, were uploaded by me, so that was nice to see :)

My weekend was not that special, ther ewas a lot of rain so I just stayed home, did some work and watched some movies with my host family.

Week 16

Hello everyone!

After today, only 4 more weeks to go.. :(

I really don’t want to leave London as I really fell in love with this city!

My work week wasn’t that interesting, just doing the daily tasks as I explained before. It is nicer now as I can really get along with the other new interns!

I didn’t do much this weekend. I did went to Kew Gardens on Sunday. Everyone recommended me to go there and it was really nice. However the weather wasn’t too good, so it was very cold..

Hopefully the weather will be better next week, because this week we’ve had a lot of rain unfortunately..

Week 15

Hello everyone,

We're already in week 15, time is going so fast...

This week at work wasn't really exciting as it was the same as all the other weeks.

However my weekend was very nice. My mum came to visit me from Friday till Sunday. We went to the musical Wicked, on Friday night. This was sooo good! On Saturday I showed her around the area where I live, and in the evening we went to the cinema with my host family. On Sunday we met with my Aunt and Uncle, who were in London for the weekend as well. This was really nice.

Unfortunately the weekend went by very quickly and in the evening I brought my mum to the station again, where she went home by train.

Week 13 & 14

Hi everyone!

Time is flying by... after today only 6 more weeks to go. I am still enjoying London to the fullest! I love the city and the people.

The last two weeks were at my internship were actually the same as always. We have two new interns, one guy from Italy and one guy from Spain. Now it’s a little less quiet since the Duth intern left.

I had to explain all the daily tasks to them.

My mom is visiting me the upcoming weekend, which I am very excited about. I missed my mom, so it’s nice to spend some time together and to get the chance to show her around.

Week 12

Hello everyone,

This week was slightly different, as it was the first week without the other intern. It was very quiet without her.. :(

However, a new intern came. She is a very kind girl from Italy. I had to teach her how to do all the daily tasks.

This is basically what my week looked liked.

Week 11

Hello everyone,

As usual, this week was not very different from my other weeks. It has been very busy, so mostly I was busy with processing orders.

Unfortunately, the other Dutch intern left on Friday.. I could really get along with her, so for sure I am going to miss her. We had a nice goodbye drink at the office and I went out with her on Friday.

I think next week is going to be a bit different, seeing I have to cover some of the previous intern her tasks. But I will let you know this in my next blog :)
